As a consultant joining Ekkiden on a permanent contract, here is a clear overview of what to expect: from your first contact with the team through to your long-term career development.

Joining Ekkiden as a consultant on a permanent contract means entering a structure that is built to support you, not just on your first day, but throughout your entire career. From the moment you sign your contract to your long-term development, every step of your journey is designed with your growth and success in mind. Here is what you can expect.

STEP ONE

Recruitment. A targeted selection, start of the adventure

The recruitment process at Ekkiden is built around finding the right match. From the first conversations, we take the time to understand your profile, your skills, and your goals so that the opportunities we put forward are genuinely relevant to you.

Signing your permanent contract marks the beginning of your Ekkiden adventure.

STEP TWO

Onboarding. Prepared before you arrive

At Ekkiden, onboarding begins before your first day. During the week prior to your arrival, you will receive all the necessary information, tools, and access rights to ensure a smooth start.

On your first day, your Business Manager will reach out to check that everything is going well and to answer any initial questions you may have.

During your first week, you will meet with a member of the HR team. This session covers our tools, internal processes, available training opportunities, and the key contacts who will support you throughout your time at Ekkiden.

In the days following your arrival, a welcome pack will be delivered directly to your home.

Onboarding does not stop after the first week. Our HR team remains available throughout your experience, with monthly check-ins to make sure everything is going well. Meetings with HR or your Business Manager can be arranged at any time.

STEP THREE

Community life. Connecting beyond your project

At Ekkiden, we believe that strong professional relationships are built beyond day-to-day projects. Throughout the year, we organise a variety of events that bring our teams together and strengthen our community.

These include team lunches, afterworks, padel tournaments, running sessions, and many other activities; providing regular opportunities to meet colleagues, share experiences, and expand your internal network.

These moments contribute to the sense of belonging that defines our culture at Ekkiden.

STEP FOUR

Learning & development. Continuous growth

Continuous learning is a key part of the Ekkiden experience. Regular HR follow-ups allow us to understand your career aspirations, identify development opportunities, and support your professional growth.

From day one, you will receive GDPR awareness training. Beyond that, you have access to:

A self-service learning catalog with on-demand resources. Internal learning initiatives including webinars, mentoring programmes, e-learning modules, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Specialised training based on your professional needs and objectives. One-to-one online language courses in English, French, Spanish, and German (available after successful completion of your probation period).
